Current bid $4,617.09 reserve not met, 12 bids, 5 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1964 Jaguar MK II Saloon Car in Silver Grey with Red Leather interior. It was bought new in the UK on July 9th 1964. It has the 2.4 litre engine with a 4 speed overdrive manual transmission. I'm helping sell this for a friend who has had the car for over 20 years. It is in fantastic condition. The paint is a little over 5 years old and is in excellent condition. The paint is very good and practically flawless. The interior was professionally and masterfully restored with English leather. It has original paper work and build sheet from Bridge Garage (Chertsey) LTD. in Surrey. This car is stored in a climate controlled garage and has been well taken care of. The owner would consider any interesting trades, especially Corvettes.

Current bid $6,766 reserve not met, 5 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Dayton, Ohio. 68k miles.

Sellers description:
This is a gorgeous, solid car. Truely impressive in the flesh. Great paint and an interior that is just sumptuous! Fabulous condition overall, never damaged or rusted. Drives wonderfully and is just a pleasure to be in. Nice straight body, engine is silky smooth, and the tranny with overdrive is sweet to use. WOW!

Rare car here in the states (2.4) was originally sold in the UK we have the original bill of sale from the Bridge Garage LTD, Chertsey, Surrey, along with the queen's tax stamp. Also the original owner's manual and some recent receipts, most notably the carbs were rebuilt. Car starts immediately, runs really well! I am surprised how good this engine pulls and with the overdrive fuel economy is probably pretty good too.

As stated the paint is very nice. A high quality repaint the age of which I am not certain. It is excellent. The interior was restored by the previous owner to a tune of $11,000 plus. It shows. The leather is in great shape, feels and smells wonderful. The wood is all in nice shape, original. Carpet, door panels, headliner, etc. are all excellent.

OH YEA it has a Webasco sunroof! And it works great, still has the functional wind deflector too. One thing my wife mentioned when we were cruising with the windows and the top open, "This car is really quiet!". It does seem to have very little wind intrusion and noise. By design or luck it is surprising how nice it is.

All glass is good, tires are good, brakes are good, it drives good.

Most of the chrome is very nice. Exception is the driver's rear bumperette has a small ding. The chrome on the rear bumperettes is a little weak, but I'm nit picking now.

The overall effect is one of the most gorgeous of cars. This is one you want to pile your close friends into and go somewhere special. And it's fun to drive, it is a Jag after all.

This car has obviously been very well cared for. Please come see it if you can. It is one of those cars that photos don't capture as well as hoped.

Nice modern stereo.

Your records incorrectly record the VIN of this car as 117720BW, perhaps because this number is also incorrect on the original sales invoice. In fact, it is 117720DN, as shown on the manufacturer's plate. Photos also confirm this is a manual overdrive car and not an automatic.
