This lovely 1968 Jaguar Mk2 240 saloon has completed a mere 67000 miles from new and it is the preferred manual version with the overdrive gearbox and it comes with a very relevant personalised registration number - 240 AUN.
The car has a large history file and a complete and full history, including old M.O.T. certificates, dating back to July 1978 when the mileage was 39000 miles and the car has only ever needed light restoration work and hence this is a very original vehicle.
The present owner has had the car for the last five years and it has only been used occassionally in the summer months and it is only sadly offered to sale because of a recent divorce. We are informed that it is an excellent original example of a virtually unrestored car and it is complemented by a full set of chrome wire wheels, sports spats, the original toolkit, owners handbook, the history file and a current M.O.T. until July next year as well as road fund licence until June 1998.
A lovely car in need of a stable home.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
