Car was at auction in 2013.
www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2013-08-31/car/jaguar-mk-ii-%2834%29.aspx

Auction description:
Registration NAD 114F
Chassis Number IJ 50722DN
Engine Number KH24828
Odometer reading 52,100 miles
Estimate £11,000 - £15,000
Hammer Sold - £12,040

This attractively presented example in Old English White with a contrasting red leather interior has been the property of the current owner since 2007 with MoT test certificates validating the mileage back to then. An engine rebuild took place in 2008 with a new wiring harness in 2011. Bodywork was updated over the years with new headlining and, importantly, all 53 items of woodwork stripped and re-varnished in 2003. Supplied with overdrive, power steering and electronic ignition, this example should provide reliable motoring for many years to come.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
