Auction description:
This beautiful Jaguar Mk V Drop Head Coupe was delivered new in Victoria to Mr. W.D.Wills of W.D. & H.O. Wills tobacco fame, but later found its way to New South Wales where it was restored by Classic Autocraft in 1980 at a reputed cost of around $80,000, making it the most comprehensive and detailed ever carried out on a Mark V Drop Head Coupe in this country. The car has been maintained in its outstanding condition since. It is currently registered in Victoria and its suitability for daily driving has been enhanced with the fitting of an electric cooling fan for the radiator. Sold with number plates 'MKVDHC' and a Roadworthy Certificate upon sale.
