Drive this S Type and you’ll instantly sense the individual systems at work: the powerful 6 cylinder engine, the agile suspension, the reassuring braking. But drive it for any length of time, and the individual sensations meld into one as you and this S Type become inseparable parts of a singular experience.
Are you ready for that?

It’s now ready for the market again with the following work done.
New rocker panels
All Jacking points replaced.
Spare tire well cleaned and painted
New gaiters on the ball joints, checked and adjusted for free play where needed.
Oil change with 20w-50 oil and OEM Oil filter.
Cooling system flushed and new antifreeze
New spark plugs
Compression test done (OK)
Brake and clutch hydraulics flushed and new fluid
This Jaguar performs as you would expect. It Breathes torque!
The very first XK 120 was built to showcase a remarkably strong and powerful
new Jaguar engine. That was in 1948, but you could say the same of the
1966 S Type. It is a showcase for the 3.8 litre straight six of legendary E Type fame.
You tap into this proven strength. The engine’s smooth thrust of torque is evident across the entire RPM range, as the engine’s valves optimize every breath of air. Engage the Moss four speed transmission, and what you hear quickly grows from a low growl to a perfectly pitched roar as the road rushes beneath you and your S Type. Ease off on the throttle and she cruises effortlessly and economically with ladylike manners. The Businessman’s Express it’s been called.
