This car is interesting because it is totally unmolested in original condition. Sitting in the car is like a timewarp back to 1959. I love the smell of the old leather and carpet. The car was last on the road in 1983 and was originally titled in Long Island, New York.

Sellers description:
I am essentially throwing in the second 1959 black 3.4 Liter Mark 1 (Car #S992292 BW) as a bonus [with the sale of S989469DN] as I do not have a title for this car (I do have a notarized bill of sale). This car is very restorable and should not be thought of as a parts car. It comes with the original rare 9:1 compression competition engine (numbers match) and a manual transmission out of a Jaguar Mark 2. The engine is free. The only missing parts that I know of are the muffler and the rear windshield metal trim. The interesting thing about this car is that it is totally unmolested in absolutely original condition. It was parked in 1984 with about 50,000 miles on it when the clutch went out and has not been driven since. The car was in a covered carport from about 1990 to when I bought it May of 2001. I had it in my garage until October of 2005 when it lost its place to make room for another classic British car. It has been under a car cover since this time. There is rust on the lower side of the driver side doors, spats, sills and floorboards. The rest of the car including the under carriage and trunk area has very little corrosion.
