Ebay item 2/7/07 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-Barn-Fresh-50s-Jaguar-with-No-Reserve_W0QQitemZ27 ...
Current bid $1,500, no reserve, 1 bid 4 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Data plate on right front under hood reads 5992456DN Type 3L4. This car just came out of lengthy storage. Last registered and inspected in 1977. It has older restoration and repaint. Barn fresh, with plenty of rust. Looks 99% complete and unmolested. We have not tried to start it but everything appears to be there except for the battery. Lots of good chrome and wood as well as a complete drivetrain! Jaguar on the hood is missing as well as the trunk letters. Good glass, lenses, mint headliner, excellent gauges and lower dash wood as well as the interior wood window surrounds. It rolls freely and even has a spare tire. Has a small back window. When was the last time you saw one of these this cheap? It even has some extra parts in the trunk. We did some research on this car and it is supposed to be a 1958 Jaguar Mark II. There is plenty of rust everywhere. The 4 speed manual transmission seems to shift well. This is a very interesting automobile. The chrome on the car is excellent and not putted and the bumpers are clean and straight and it even has a trailer hitch. Tires are all dry rotted and it has all of the hubcaps. We are not Jaguar experts but it looks pretty much stock although the front seats are recovered. It even smells like a barn fresh car. Expect a car that has rust everywhere and is very complete. There is no title with this car and it does not run and is sold as is where is. We will not provide a title and we will sell this car with a bill of sale only. This car must be towed as it does not run. Shipping is available at the buyer's expense. Inspect this car anytime before the auction's end at our store in Hanson Ma.
