Ebay item 10/14/09
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-1967-Jaguar-420-G-Barn-Find-AZ-Dry-Car-like-Mark- ...
Opening bid $1,650, no reserve, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. Complete VIN on this car 67G1D77502BW

Sellers description:
Excellent Barn Find Project car from Dry Arizona. Purchased in a package of cars from an estate that included Aston Martins, Jaguars etc. Brought to Oklahoma Last year. Has not been started in at least 3-5 years, but was running when a partial restoration was started. The last owners intention was to redo the interior in the correct leather and refinish the wood. He got as far as removing the wood, sending it out to be refinished, however the project stalled there. after stoarage outside for 2 years, the paint has faded, and now will need repaint. All chrome is there and in very good driver condition. I have not been able to find any rust in the car, and have now found out it was sold in California new, before coming to AZ. I have made no effort to get it running, however, I would assume it will not need much to start again. I am sure it will need brake work etc, and of course the dash reassembled. It is a very interesting car with rare options such as factory A/C and automatic transmission. It of course has the picnic tables in the backs of the front seats for the rear passengers, and other really neat British details. No Reserve!

Car returns to ebay 11/2/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-420-420-G-Great-restoration-potential-rare-factor ...
Opening bid $1,750 reserve not met, no bids yet 4 days left in auction. Car now said to be located in Culpeper, Virginia.

Sellers description:
This 1967 Jaguar 420 was not running when we purchased it last year.
We have not tried to start the car and do not know the condition of the 6 cylinder engine.
A previous owner had intentions of restoring the interior but never got beyond disassembly. The paint has faded from years of outdoor storage but there is little sign of rust. The car includes rare factory options such as automatic transmission and air conditioning. We cannot assess the condition of either since the car has not been run.

The car is being sold with a Title not a bill of sale. We have no records or history on this vehicle so please no detailed questions.

Bills Auto Sales US is a licensed auto dealership located in Culpeper VA.

This vehicle is being sold as a project or parts car and is not running unless noted in the description. Temporary license plates will not be issued and all cars must be towed or trailered.

Opening bid US $1,000, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller dragracer1454, car now said to be in Port Orange, Florida, 94k miles.

Sellers description:
This is a rare, 50 yr old, top of the line, Jaguar. I used this car regularly for a couple years, did a parade lap at Daytona Turkey Rod Run, Daytona Gaslite Parade, was filmed for "How we invented the World", t.v show. It's been sitting for a while. Tanks are clean and have fresh gas. Usually starts first try. It's running rough, and the brake pedal is now, a little mushy. There is some rust in the driver footwell and the spare tire well, in the trunk. The clear coat is peeling off the top of the dash, the rest of the wood is like new, expertly refinished, before I got the car. I had added the large 'euro' style headlites, and the XJ6 wheels. Original wheels go with it. I had also rebuilt the carb's, and 'Eastwooded' the fueltanks when I first got it. I also had switched the cam covers, and had all of the aluminum polished. The paint is old, dull and oxidized. I have all the chrome trim for the windshields. It has the rare tri carb, triple S. U.'s, version of the jag engine. It has power antenna, power windows, power steering, a/c and automatic trans. It is #502 of 1125 l.h.d.'s produced.
